One-year anniversary: Thoughts on monetization

Dear reader,

It’s been one year since the first time I pressed publish. While I was uncertain then, today I’m glad to report that my fondness for writing has grown into a passion. I’m hoping to keep writing for years to come.

My interview with People And Blogs got published yesterday, and it dives deeper into my thoughts about blogging and writing workflow if you’re interested. Now, let’s discuss monetization.

One of my core principles is to keep my writing free for everyone while maintaining a clean reading experience. This is why you won’t find distracting ads or posts behind a paywall. Yet, I’m not against sensible monetization.

Publishing on a regular basis takes a lot of time, so if you have found value in my writing and want to support me, this is now possible. There are two options: credit card payments via Buy Me a Coffee and Monero payments for those who want more privacy.

While I’m not expecting to gain much from these, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have the option available. I would be grateful for any support!
